OpenText has launched a suite of advanced cybersecurity capabilities designed to help enterprises embed artificial intelligence securely across their operations. The innovations, available in OpenText Cloud Editions (CE) 25.4, enable organisations to unify their defences across identity, data, applications, and operations—creating a resilient and trusted foundation for AI-driven transformation.

As businesses accelerate their digital evolution, OpenText Cybersecurity is integrating AI directly into the flow of everyday security work through a unified set of solutions, including OpenText Core Threat Detection and Response, OpenText Core Identity Foundation, OpenText Application Security Aviator, and OpenText Data Privacy and Protection. Together, these offerings enable enterprises to enforce governance, enhance compliance, and build confidence in the security underpinning their AI initiatives.

“Enterprises want to harness the speed of AI without sacrificing security,” said Muhi Majzoub, Executive Vice President, Security Products at OpenText. “To keep pace with AI’s velocity, we are giving security and IT teams the tools to work faster, smarter, and with greater confidence. That is why we are closing the loop in application security and data, unifying identity across complex environments, and expanding managed detection and response with compliance readiness.”

OpenText Core Identity Foundation simplifies identity and access management across hybrid environments, allowing organisations to unify authentication across on-premises, cloud, and legacy systems without costly infrastructure overhauls. Delivered through a SaaS-based, Zero Trust architecture, the platform enforces least-privilege access while advancing the company’s Identity-as-a-Service (IDaaS) vision to deliver consistent security across diverse ecosystems.

OpenText Application Security Aviator 25.4 brings AI-powered automation to secure software delivery, enabling development teams to remediate vulnerabilities in minutes rather than days. Its validated, automated code fixes reduce security debt and embed protection directly into DevSecOps workflows via the Fortify Command Line Interface (fcli), ensuring that AI innovation is matched by equally agile and adaptive defence mechanisms.

OpenText Core Threat Detection and Response enhances threat visibility and incident management through behavioural analytics within Security Operations Centres (SOCs). Complementing this, its Data Privacy and Protection provides advanced encryption for data at rest, in transit, and as it fuels AI models. For organisations seeking managed support, they Managed Security Services deliver Managed Extended Detection and Response (MxDR) and PCI-DSS attestation services, helping teams identify threats faster, respond in real time, and maintain compliance with minimal operational overhead.
