ONE App, powered by Al Salam Bank, has launched integrated e-marketplace and Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) solution to become a comprehensive lifestyle platform, redefining how individuals and businesses interact within a digital-first retail environment.OneApp

The new e-marketplace brings together a dynamic network of local merchants from online sellers to brick-and-mortar retailers enabling them to showcase their products directly within the ONE App ecosystem. The platform is designed to offer users a streamlined and personalised retail experience, allowing them to browse, shop, and transact with ease. By integrating BNPL functionality, ONE App now empowers customers with the flexibility to split payments into three monthly instalments, interest-free, with no paperwork or salary transfer required.

This seamless integration of commerce and finance is underpinned by a user-centric design and a strong focus on accessibility. For merchants, the platform offers a digital self-onboarding process that simplifies product listing and customer engagement. Merchants can also offer instalment plans to their clients and access performance analytics via an intuitive dashboard unlocking new commercial opportunities and improving visibility in a mobile-first market.

The introduction of the e-marketplace and BNPL feature supports a broader national vision for digital transformation and financial inclusion. It is poised to drive real economic impact by expanding digital participation, supporting SMEs, and aligning with consumer preferences for flexible and frictionless shopping experiences both online and in-store.

This latest innovation reinforces ONE App’s positioning as a digital-first platform designed to evolve with the needs of a fast-changing marketplace. Rooted in values of accessibility, empowerment, and customer-first innovation, the e-marketplace with BNPL is a forward-thinking solution aligned with Bahrain’s ambition to lead in FinTech adoption and inclusive digital commerce.

Haitham Al Haddad, General Manager, ONE App, said, “Our goal at ONE App has always been to simplify everyday living by integrating financial services with real-life experiences. The launch of the e-marketplace, combined with a seamless BNPL feature, represents a transformative step forward not only for our clients but for the broader retail landscape in Bahrain. This initiative empowers merchants with greater reach and digital presence while giving clients an affordable, transparent, and effortless way to shop. It is another example of how ONE App continues to bridge technology, finance, and lifestyle to build a smarter, more inclusive future.”
