OMPay partners with Thunes for global payments solutions

OMPay signed an official agreement with the payment gateway company, Thune for integration across its digital banking services. This step will help transform the Omani digital financial landscape.

Now, OMPay users are enabled to make online or in-person, hassle-free global transactions for a minimal fee.

“We’re delighted to announce that we’ve signed this agreement with Thunes that will help us put Oman on the world map in the field of finance. Now, our customers’ financial control will reach beyond borders,” shared Abdul Aziz Al Rawahi, CEO of OMPay.

Thunes is a global payment gateway, available in 130 countries across the world. It is trusted by innovative businesses for their international remittance APIs.

OMPay’s mobile application gives users complete control over their finances, including money transfers and bill payments. OMPay Wallet envisions being among the pioneers in locally produced solutions for digital payments. Its aim is the diversification of FinTech services and moving ahead with global advancements.

Existing OMPay wallet users can receive and send money through chat transfers to local and international banks, make bill payments and pay through contacts. It is a complete one-stop application. The app is available for download on the App Store, Google Play Store, and Huawei App Gallery.
