Nuvei and Le Panier Bleu partner to improve payments on its marketplace platform in Quebec

Nuvei Corporation, the Canadian FinTech company, announced that it has been selected as the exclusive payment technology provider for Le Panier Bleu, an online marketplace platform supporting businesses in the Canadian province of Quebec.

Blue Cart uses Nuvei’s integrated payments technology Nuvei for Platforms, to enable small and medium-sized businesses to access enterprise-grade payment solutions through its e-commerce platform.

To compete with global e-commerce giants, it is essential that Blue Basket merchants can benefit from turnkey, efficient, customisable and accessible payment services that personalise the online customer experience.

Nuvei for Platforms offers all the features of Nuvei’s core modular platform, including merchant integration, payments, optimisation, orchestration, fraud prevention, risk management and more, all in one seamless integration.

Initially, a non-profit organisation supported by the provincial government and now a private company backed by institutional investors, Le Panier Bleu is a Quebec-based e-commerce portal promoting and selling local merchants’ products. As its slogan indicates, it was designed to ‘keep our economy going.’

The marketplace already has more than 200 Quebec merchants, selling 40,000 products, and is working to triple the number of businesses using the e-commerce platform before the end of the year.
