Newgen Software Technologies has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer and Chief Growth Officer as the company looks to accelerate global expansion and advance its AI-powered enterprise software strategy.
Tarun Nandwani, Chief Executive Officer of Newgen Software, said: “Newgen’s journey has always been defined by innovation, customer trust, and a passion for solving complex business challenges. I am honoured to take on this responsibility at a time when enterprises are rethinking how they operate in an AI-first world.”
The Board has appointed Tarun Nandwani as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 August 2026, while creating the new role of Chief Growth Officer (CGO), to be led by Pramod Kumar. The appointments have followed the previously announced resignation of Virender Jeet and are intended to ensure leadership continuity while supporting the company’s next phase of growth.
Pramod Kumar, Chief Growth Officer of Newgen Software, said: “The opportunity ahead of us is tremendous. As enterprises accelerate their AI transformation journeys, they are seeking trusted partners who can help modernise operations, unlock tangible business value from AI, and deliver measurable outcomes.”
Newgen has said the enhanced leadership structure will reinforce its vision of orchestrating intelligent enterprises by combining artificial intelligence, automation, enterprise content, workflows and data on a unified platform. The company believes organisations have increasingly seeked integrated AI capabilities that improve operational efficiency while maintaining governance and control.
The appointments have also strengthened Newgen’s plans to expand into new markets, deepen customer relationships, develop strategic partnerships and support digital transformation initiatives across global financial institutions and enterprises.
Newgen said the leadership has changed position the company to expand its global footprint while helping organisations adopt AI-driven enterprise technologies through its NewgenONE platform.
