Neonomics, an open banking provider, has teamed up with Frid, a personal finance management (PFM) app, to pilot real-time categorised transaction data for consumers.
By leveraging Neonomics’ open banking technology and Bislab’s data enrichment expertise, Frid’s users will benefit from automated transaction categorisation. This will offer more precise insights into their spending habits and financial health and ensure highly accurate and seamless transaction tracking.
“Partnering with Neonomics marks a major leap in enhancing the financial experience for our users,” said Espen Ellevseth, Co-founder and Technical Director of Frid. “With the improved real-time categorised transaction data, we’re giving our users better instant insights that simplify budgeting and make managing personal finances easier and more intuitive.”
Neonomics’ categorised transaction data will also enhance the accuracy of Frid’s financial insights. It will offer users precise spending breakdowns and tailored budgeting tools, empowering them to manage their finances more effectively.
“Our partnership with Frid enables us to deliver powerful, real-time insights that transform how users manage their money,” said Christoffer Andvig, CEO of Neonomics. “By refining transaction categorisation through open banking, we’re making personal finance management more intuitive and delivering a personalised experience. This is a game-changer for financial apps.”
With this integration, Frid users can effortlessly track their spending across categories like groceries, travel, and entertainment without the need for manual input. This streamlined approach reduces financial stress and simplifies the process of managing personal budgets. By making complex transaction data more accessible and actionable, Neonomics and its partners are redefining the standard for personal finance management.
Frid is a personal finance platform dedicated to improving financial well-being. Around half of Norwegians face financial concerns, which can impact workplaces through increased absenteeism, reduced productivity, and heightened security risks. Frid provides financial health services to businesses that prioritise employee care.
By offering real-time categorised transaction data and intuitive budgeting tools, Frid empowers individuals to take control of their finances, ultimately benefiting both employees and employers.
