Morph Payments, a stablecoin payments platform serving small and medium-sized businesses, has expanded its network support by introducing USDC and USDT on Solana and USDT on TRON, giving merchants additional options for accepting stablecoin payments.

The update also allows customers to make payments directly from a crypto exchange account or any compatible wallet through a standard transfer process, eliminating the need to connect a wallet to the Morph Payments platform.

Under the new payment flow, users can select a standard transfer option, copy the payment address provided by the merchant and send the required amount from a compatible wallet or exchange account.

The feature is designed to simplify transactions for customers who already hold USDC or USDT on exchanges, removing the extra step of transferring funds to a self-custodial wallet before making a payment.

For merchants, the enhancement broadens the pool of customers able to pay with stablecoins while enabling continued tracking and management of transactions through the Morph Payments dashboard.

Renna Ba, Head of Ecosystem at Morph, said, “For stablecoin payments to become part of everyday business, we need to stop expecting customers to understand the infrastructure underneath them.”

She added that the company’s focus is on supporting the stablecoins and networks customers already use while simplifying the payment experience and providing merchants with tools to manage post-payment activities.

The addition of Solana and TRON increases the number of supported blockchain networks on Morph Payments, offering businesses greater flexibility by allowing customers to pay using their preferred stablecoin network rather than requiring funds to be moved to a specific chain before transacting.

Alongside the network expansion, Morph has launched an enhanced Morph Payments Help Centre, designed as a central resource for businesses and users seeking information on the platform and its features.

The company said the new resource supports its broader efforts to reduce complexity in sending and receiving stablecoins and will complement future capabilities as Morph Payments continues to develop its offering for businesses operating in a growing multi-stablecoin ecosystem.
