Moneyhub adds Triodos Bank open banking connection
By Megha Bhattacharya
Moneyhub, the Open Banking and Open Finance data, intelligence and payments platform, is one of the first Open Banking providers in the UK to connect to Triodos Bank, the financial and banking service provider for savers, investors and organisations.
Triodos Bank customers can now integrate their everyday banking with Moneyhub’s personal financial management app (PFM). As a result, Triodos customers can have an overview of what money is where, track spending habits or set budgets to help manage their money to improve their financial wellbeing. API and white label clients who use Moneyhub’s Open Finance platform to power their own propositions can also immediately benefit from this new connection.
Gareth Griffiths, head of retail banking at Triodos Bank UK, said: “We’re pleased that our customers will now be able to integrate their everyday banking with Moneyhub’s app and enjoy the many benefits of Open Banking, such as helping them to easily track spending and set budgets to help manage money.”
Recently, Hometrack, a provider of insight and intelligence to the UK mortgage market, has appointed Moneyhub as its preferred Open Banking partner. The integration of Moneyhub’s Open Banking technology into Hometrack’s Credit Risk Hub will facilitate streamlined mortgage journeys for lenders, brokers and consumers alike.
Sam Seaton, CEO at Moneyhub comments: “We’re proud to be one of the first Open Banking providers in the UK to connect to Triodos Bank. At Moneyhub, we are passionate about using Open Banking for good, so the very similar shared values between our two businesses make this new connection an especially meaningful one to us. What’s more, with Triodos Bank’s UK headquarters based in Bristol, like Moneyhub’s, we’re always pleased to be able to connect with and champion local businesses in this incredible city.”
