The platform comprises five features – Market Assessment, Card Comparison, Digital Payment experiences, Consumer Research, and Industry Insight.

The Market Assessment features aims to offer easy access to reports providing insights to 34 markets in the EU for socio-economic, payment, and digital KPI data curated at a local level. The card comparison features filters and benchmarks features of card products issued by various schemes and issuers and also includes an overview of key metrics at a local level. Digital Payment Experiences offers an analysis of FinTechs and best practices for strategies in an evolving landscape. Consumer Research aims to offer access to research studies commissioned by Mastercard globally whereas Industry Insight gives access to a repository of videos, studies, and global thought leadership on technology trends.

With insight into the most cutting-edge trends and consumer needs, they can identify and deploy the technology and initiatives that will super-serve their customers and adapt to the constant evolution in how people shop and pay.”

Mastercard stated that Market Trends is currently available for issuers across Europe and is expected to be expanded outside Europe soon.
