MANGOPAY names Carlos Sanchez Arruti as CFO

Payment infrastructure provider MANGOPAY has announced the appointment of Carlos Sanchez Arruti as Chief Financial Officer. Joining from his prior role at Amazon as CFO of LATAM, Arruti brings a wealth of experience in driving financial strategy, transformational change, and operational excellence in his previous organisation.
With more than 20 years of experience working for financial services, retail, and platform organizations, Arruti will help MANGOPAY achieve strong financial results.
Based in Luxembourg, the 45-year-old joins the MANGOPAY business after acting as Finance Director for Amazon Transportation Services EU and previously as CFO for Amazon LATAM. He also spent two years at American Express as a Vice President of Finance, and 14 years at GE Capital in multiple roles of increasing responsibility.
A native of Puebla, Mexico, Arruti holds an MBA in Corporate Finance from Columbia Business School in New York City, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City.
He joins MANGOPAY’s executive team – reporting directly to MANGOPAY’s CEO, Romain Mazeries – and will oversee financial planning and analysis, pricing, accounting, treasury, business support

The latest announcement follows a string of appointments by MANGOPAY this year with the addition of Luke Trayfoot as the new CRO, Ronen Benchetrit as CTO, and Olympe Leflambe as General Counsel.
