MainStreet Bank appoints Lisa Kilgour as new Chief Operating Officer

MainStreet Bancshares, the parent company of MainStreet Bank has announced the promotion of Lisa Kilgour to Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Ms. Kilgour holds a 36-year career in community banking. She joined MainStreet Bank in 2017 and prior to which she served as Sr. VP of Operations for Middleburg Bank for 22 years, where she improved processes, reduced costs, and built a high-performing operations team. Lisa was also COO at Middletown Valley Bank and VP of Operations for Farmers & Merchants Bank. She is a proven leader and active participant in the community. Currently, she serves as the Chair of Virginia 1st and the Jack Henry & Associates Silverlake National Board.

As a member of the Bank’s leadership team, Lisa makes contributions to the organization’s growth by identifying business needs and presents strategic solutions to streamline operations, deploy new technologies, launch products, and improve bottom-line performance.

Lisa attended Virginia Tech as a computer science major. She is also a graduate of the VBA Executive Leadership Program, BAI Graduate School of Banking for Operations & Technology, and Leadership Loudoun.

With Lisa leading the Bank’s operations and technology and Jacob focused on risk management, we have a very powerful team controlling the Bank’s infrastructure,” said Jeff W. Dick, Chairman & CEO of MainStreet Bancshares, Inc. and MainStreet Bank.

Executive VP Jacob Hutchinson will continue his role as COO for the holding company and has transitioned to the role of Chief Risk Officer (CRO) for the Bank.

Recently, MainStreet Bank appointed Abdul Hersiburane as new President.

Established since 2004, MainStreet Bank, Member FDIC, is a community bank. The bank has added third party payments as a specialized service along with its robust suite of commercial and business services.
