LUXHUB, Open Finance, Open Banking, Payments, Compliance, FinTech, LuxembourgOpen Finance pioneer LUXHUB has announced the appointment of its new Chief Operating Officer: Geoffroy Gailly, who brings his 25+ years of tech experience in the banking and insurance fields to the company. The compliance and payments-focused FinTech announced that Gailly will also be acting as “Authorized Manager”, subject to CSSF approval.

Gailly is an IT professional who has been active in the financial services industry in Luxembourg for the last 25 years. At LUXHUB, he will be in charge of the operational efficiency of the company, its products, and services, as well as functioning processes.

In his new role as COO, he will ensure the smooth operation of a business-critical 24×7 service delivery based on LUXHUB’s platform and IT infrastructure. More generally, Gailly will push for the promotion of a company culture made of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.

“It is with great honor and with a lot of ambition that I join LUXHUB, with the mission to take the company to the next level in terms of operational excellence and tech processes,” said Geoffroy Gailly, COO. “My goal will be to enable the further development of the company, leaning on past successes but more importantly on a future-oriented vision”.

He further stated, “With the recent European Commission legislative proposals, we, at LUXHUB, all expect Open Finance to skyrocket and envision the great potential for all stakeholders: financial institutions, third-party providers, FinTechs, and actually any public or private company. Those are exciting times for the entire financial services industry!”

Claude Meurisse, CEO of LUXHUB said, “With his 25 years of experience in the tech and operations fields and deep industry knowledge, we are confident that Geoffroy will play a key role in shaping the future of our company and driving us towards new ventures. New regulation and the opening of financial data are already creating interesting opportunities that we have started to explore. Geoffroy’s arrival matches with the new ambitions we have already expressed, notably through the launch of LUXHUB CESOP and our upcoming Account Verification Platform.”
