By Megha Bhattacharya
Irish banking technology company LEVERIS has been selected by Česká spořitelna, Czech Republic-based bank, as a partner for the transformation of its IT infrastructure. The collaboration is expected to generate a blueprint for developing new software, a new database and general infrastructure, as well as training Česká spořitelna employees on how to deploy and operate a modular banking system.
“This project represents a really strong endorsement of LEVERIS and presents a great opportunity for Česká spořitelna to transform its digital offering in the Czech market,” said Conor Fennelly, founder and CEO of LEVERIS. “Right now, we are forming more partnerships with major banks and organisations to boost their ability to better serve digital-savvy banking customers now and in the future.”
The partnership is expected to enable Česká spořitelna to launch products efficiently, operate in real-time, respond to customer needs and manage at a reduced cost.
Founded in 2016, LEVERIS is headquartered in Dublin with development centres in Prague, Brno and Minsk. Its 150+ team has experience in financial services, technology and banking.
Petr Bravek, COO, Česká spořitelna, commented: “What struck us about LEVERIS’ application for this project was its ability to develop the kind of technology that delivers an outstanding experience for both bank and end-user. This partnership will enable us to offer further enhanced products and services to our four million-plus customers.”
