European eCommerce platform Kooomo today announced new updates to its platform, including enablement of bank transfers with Stripe and addition of two marketplace connectors. Kooomo stated that the Stripe partnership will enable merchants to offer bank transfer as a payment method through this vendor. The company’s customers now have two further marketplace connectors, with the addition of Yocabè which provides shipment status updates and Channable which provides feed management.

Yocabè is an Italian solution that helps companies to engage with clients who regularly buy on marketplaces. Channable is another marketplace connector that has been implemented in order to maximise the sales channels for clients.

Ciaran Bollard, CEO, Kooomo said, “Right now it’s critical that retailers are putting their best digital foot forward. We’re therefore continually updating our platform to ensure we’re their trusted partner to help them achieve this and increase conversions.”

According to Kooomo, Offering Bank transfer via Stripe allows for secure international transactions. Stripe notifies Kooomo as soon as the money is received and can be processed accordingly, thus improving automation and warehouse synchronisation.

Recently, Kooomo announced its plans for a UK expansion following its partnership with York-based e-commerce portal PureNet. The partnership will see PureNet add Kooomo’s next-generation e-commerce platform to its portfolio.

Kooomo is a SaaS e-commerce system that aims to assist online businesses to manage orders from start to finish. It claims to have powered around 1 billion transactions and has a flexible revenue-share model.
