judopayMobile payments provider Judopay today entered into a partnership with Mastercard in a bid to expand its network with a direct route to Mastercard’s Payment Gateway Services global acquiring ecosystem. The partnership is expected to benefit Judopay’s customers with the addition of acquirer optionality, resiliency, faster deployment and support in business expansion. Mastercard will also equip the FinTech with the capability to increase foothold in Europe, Asia Pacific, Australia and North America.

Judopay’s CEO Jeremy Nicholds, commented, “The partnership with Mastercard is the natural next step for our relationship. It will be a key strategic partnership as we grow our business across a range of different markets and head into an increasingly digital future. Mastercard and Judopay already have a successful track record, having worked together to provide Pay by Link solutions earlier this year. Now, we aim to help those adapting to the new normal by building a touch-free economy that’s accessible to all.”

The companies are planning to roll out more touch-free payment solutions for businesses across the UK and abroad.

Recently, Judopay and Mastercard announced that they would enable the Pharmacy Centre to receive digital payments through Judopay’s PaybyLink solution. The collaboration aimed to drive inclusion and flexibility during the crisis and facilitate access to essential supplies. Pharmacy Centre thus reduced customer queues by enabling digital payments, thus cutting down on the chance of spreading infection.

Keith Douglas, Executive Vice President, Payment Gateway Services, Mastercard continued, “We’re looking forward to building on our long-standing relationship with Judopay to help them provide more people with more touch-free payment choices in more places around the world.”
