Governance.com secures €450k via Crowdcube’s equity crowdfunding

Luxembourg-based FinTech Governance.com has reportedly raised nearly €450,000 through its equity crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube. Media reports have stated that the funding round initially aimed to raise around €250,000 and has seen the participation of around 355 Crowdcube investors.
The FinTech stated that the funds from the crowdfunding round will be utilised for expanding the Governance sales team and accelerate its marketing strategy.
The FinTech platform offers tech-enabled governance solutions. It enables data connection across organisational silos and makes it available in easy-to-understand dashboards. It also helps in the creation of automated workflows and ensures that every step of each process is followed as designed while aiming to increase efficiency and eliminate repetitive tasks.
According to Governance.com, its “Ready-To-Go” suite is a collection of modular solutions, designed to cover specific regulatory and business challenges that can be implemented quickly and provide immediate operational relief and risk mitigation.
The company is now offering 2.77% in equity at an €11,512,576 pre-money valuation through the funding round, which is set to close mid-January 2021. Founded by Bert and Rob Boerman, the company recently claimed that it was listed as a Top 50 European FinTech company in 2018 alongside FinTech unicorns N26 and Revolut.
