GK Capital chooses Profile Software’s Investment Management solution

Jamaica-based GK Capital Management has chosen Profile Software’s Axia Suite solution to address its requirements for managing and automating its investment management operations.

GK Capital Management is the investment and advisory arm of GraceKennedy Group, a prominent Caribbean group operating in trading and financial services. The firm specialises in advisory and investment management, handling both traditional financial and non-financial products. It is a licensed securities dealer, providing products and services regulated by the Jamaica Stock Exchange and the Financial Services Commission.

The implementation will take place at GK Capital Management’s headquarters in Jamaica and is intended to transform the firm’s entire operational workflow digitally. Profile will deploy Axia Suite, an integrated front-to-back investment management solution that includes digital service tools.

The solution will incorporate Straight-Through-Processing (STP) workflows designed to digitally overhaul the full range of operations and multi-asset class investment services. The implementation will cover key areas such as portfolio management, business operations, compliance, risk management, and client relationship management. The platform supports an omni-channel approach and can integrate with other systems. It is also intended to support both the current and future business models, maximising operational efficiency while managing identified risks and interfacing with the firm’s risk management system.

By utilising Axia Suite’s capabilities, GK Capital Management will benefit from extensive functional features, configurable workflows, and customisable dashboards and reports, all built on cloud-native technology and a modular architecture. The platform aims to provide flexibility, advanced technology, and strong integration and performance capabilities.
