Gieom

Gieom has launched its regulatory compliance management platform, ComplyAssure, at the NASSCOM Technology Confluence 2025 in Bengaluru, marking a development in the growing application of AI to governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) functions. The cloud-based tool is designed to help financial institutions and large enterprises navigate increasingly complex regulatory demands through automated analysis and real-time policy alignment.

Built on MagpieAI, Gieom’s regulatory intelligence engine, ComplyAssure interprets regulatory texts, extracts key clauses, identifies overlaps and gaps, and auto-drafts policies. The system aims to reduce reliance on manual processes and fragmented legacy tools that often slow response times and increase compliance risks.

“ComplyAssure represents a major step forward in transforming compliance management,” said Ajhas Ashok, Head of Gieom Labs. “By combining regulatory intelligence with advanced AI, we’re enabling compliance teams to work faster, more confidently, and with greater accuracy.” The product was conceptualised and led by Gieom Labs under Ashok’s direction, shaped around the operational challenges faced by compliance teams globally.

The launch comes at a time when regulatory change is accelerating across financial services, with institutions facing rising expectations around governance, transparency, and audit readiness. Traditional compliance functions often dependent on manual interpretation, spreadsheet-based mapping, and disconnected systems, are under pressure to modernise. Tools like ComplyAssure reflect a wider industry trend toward automation-driven compliance operations.

ComplyAssure’s capabilities include AI-powered regulatory analysis, automated policy alignment, clause-level gap detection, and cross-framework mapping to maintain consistency across standards. The platform also supports multiple global regulations and frameworks, positioning it as a multi-jurisdictional solution for organisations operating across markets.

“Our mission at Gieom has always been to empower organisations with intelligent tools that simplify complexity and strengthen operational risk management and resilience,” said John Santhosh, Founder & CEO of Gieom. “With ComplyAssure, we continue that vision, bringing AI innovation to the heart of regulatory compliance.”

For the broader RegTech sector, the launch underscores the growing demand for AI-enabled tools that can help compliance teams keep pace with regulatory change while reducing cost and operational burden.
