GatetoPay has joined Mastercard’s Product Express platform, strengthening its role as a FinTech enabler in Jordan and expanding access to card issuance and payment infrastructure for FinTechs launching new financial services.
The collaboration has formed part of the Mastercard Engage programme, designed to simplify FinTech enablement and accelerate time-to-market. Through the platform, FinTechs can select GatetoPay as their Bank Identification Number (BIN) sponsor or Card-as-a-Service (CaaS) provider, supporting faster product launches.
Adam Jones, Division President, West Arabia at Mastercard, said: “The launch of Product Express with GatetoPay in Jordan marks a significant step forward for the Kingdom’s FinTech ecosystem. This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting the region’s FinTech growth and empowering innovators to quickly bring competitive, scalable solutions to market.”
The partnership has expanded GatetoPay’s Card-as-a-Service (CaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) capabilities, enabling the company to deliver payment infrastructure, compliance support and end-to-end card solutions. The company said the collaboration will initially focus on Jordan before expanding regionally.
Rasha Asfour, General Manager of GatetoPay, said: “To collaborate on Product Express in Jordan is a proud milestone for GatetoPay. We truly appreciate Mastercard’s support throughout the onboarding process. This collaboration allows us to equip FinTechs and startups with seamless, compliant and scalable CaaS solutions as they navigate their journeys within Jordan’s thriving payments ecosystem.”
The collaboration is expected to strengthen Jordan’s FinTech ecosystem by giving startups and financial technology firms quicker access to payment capabilities through Mastercard’s network. It has also reflected continued investment in digital payments infrastructure as financial institutions and technology providers work to accelerate innovation and expand access to secure digital financial services across the Kingdom.
