Fiserv announces executive leadership appointments in newly created positionsFiserv, a leading global provider of financial services technology solutions, has announced executive leadership appointments for 2 newly created positions, capitalizing on its internal leadership talent and building on its commitment to continue innovation and to delivering value for clients and other stakeholders.

The firm has promoted Byron Vielehr, Head of Payments and Digital Solutions to the role of Chief Digital and Data Officer and Neil Wilcox, Chief of Staff at Fiserv to Head of Corporate Social Responsibility. 

Vielehr, in this role, will lead integrated digital and data strategic growth initiatives across Fiserv. He brings deep experience in global operations, including the management of multiple Fiserv lines of business, and a keen understanding of digital, data and technology. Vielehr will drive the execution and delivery of new digital capabilities and future data, analytics and fraud solutions. Prior to joining Fiserv, he served in senior executive roles at Dun & Bradstreet (D&B).

Wilcox will lead the company’s expanded focus on corporate citizenship and social responsibility, including strategies to build upon its success in the community & non-profit engagement, diversity & inclusion, and global philanthropy & volunteerism. He will oversee sustainability commitments for the organization, as well as help govern and measure the impact of these initiatives and their value to the business and key stakeholders. Prior to joining Fiserv, he worked at USAA, where he served as interim General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer, and Senior VL, Enterprise Shared Services Counsel.
