Finshape has acquired Realtime-XLS from the Collinson Group, marking the company’s first acquisition of a global product business. The transaction represents a step in Finshape’s growth strategy as it accelerates its mission to reimagine customer engagement for banks worldwide. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition brings 60 loyalty specialists into Finshape’s organisation and extends its international footprint with new offices in France and Singapore. It also deepens relationships with leading banks in the UAE, Australia, Indonesia, and Singapore, significantly expanding Finshape’s global reach. With this integration, Finshape now comprises nearly 600 professionals supporting millions of end-users across more than 100 banks globally.

“This acquisition is a strategic milestone on our mission to transform the way banks serve their customers by unlocking the full potential of people and technology. The loyalty solution will now form an integral part of our growing, customer-centric digital banking portfolio. Seamlessly integrated into our DBOS platform, it enhances the value we deliver by enabling banks to offer hyper-personalised experiences and build deeper, more meaningful relationships with their customers.” said Petr Koutný, CEO of Finshape.

The integration of Realtime-XLS into Finshape’s Digital Bank Operating System (DBOS) brings advanced loyalty management capabilities to the platform. Financial institutions will be able to reward customer behaviours, increase engagement, and unlock new cross-sell and up-sell opportunities. By enabling banks to maximise customer lifetime value and strengthen wallet share, the solution is designed to support sustainable growth in a competitive market.

The acquisition builds on Finshape’s established reputation for innovation and digital transformation. Headquartered in Budapest, Finshape has been recognised for its ability to combine digital banking with deep personalisation capabilities, winning Best of Show at FinovateEurope 2022. The company itself was created in 2021 through the merger of Czech Banking Software Company (BSC) and Hungary’s W.UP, a three-time Finovate Best of Show winner.

Jenő Nieder, Deputy CEO at PortfoLion Capital Partners, said, “This transaction not only incorporates a new loyalty platform but also adds new capabilities and true global coverage to an already strong company. It is perfectly aligned with the buy-and-build strategy we defined when Finshape was founded.”
