Expensify has expanded the availability of its Visa Commercial Card to businesses across the UK and selected European markets, including Spain, Ireland, Poland and the Netherlands, extending its corporate spend management offering beyond the US.

David Barrett, Founder and CEO of Expensify, said: “The Expensify Card works quietly in the background to keep your business spend controlled, compliant, and ready for accounting. It’s a preaccounting assistant that eliminates hours of reconciling transactions, chasing receipts, and reimbursing employees.”

The rollout has enabled businesses of all sizes to issue Expensify Visa Commercial Cards, giving finance teams greater visibility over company spending while reducing manual expense reporting and reimbursement processes.

The card has been integrated with Expensify’s expense management platform, allowing transactions to appear in real time. Concierge AI has automatically categorised expenses and matched receipts to transactions, while built-in spending controls have enforced company policies by blocking non-compliant purchases and flagging out-of-policy transactions before approval.

The solution has also introduced single-use and date-limited virtual cards for contractors, subscriptions and project-based spending. Businesses have been able to choose daily or monthly settlement schedules to align payments with cash flow requirements.

To support regional compliance, the platform has incorporated VAT tracking and enhanced statement reporting for UK and EU businesses. The card has also integrated with accounting platforms including QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite and Sage Intacct, enabling automatic two-way synchronisation and faster reconciliation.

The card has been made available for use at millions of merchants worldwide with no foreign transaction fees and can be linked to GBP, EUR or US business bank accounts without minimum balances, deposits, personal guarantees or credit checks.

The expansion has formed part of Expensify’s wider international growth strategy, complementing its Bring Your Own Cards (BYOC) programme, which supports corporate cards issued by more than 10,000 banks globally.
