EPA appoints Ben Agnew as the new Chief Executive

The Emerging Payments Association (EPA) today announced the appointment of Ben Agnew as its Chief Executive Officer. He has joined the EPA team from the 1st of September, 2020 and is responsible for leading the UK-based payments industry member body.
Mr. Agnew stated, “I’m excited to lead the team at this highly engaged industry body, dedicated to representing and serving the best interests of the UK payments sector. As part of the EPA team, I look forward to delivering an ambitious business strategy, and bringing my extensive B2B events and digital experience to the table to help further the EPA’s already impressive events programme.”
Agnew has around 15 years of experience in the events, digital, and marketing services space. He held the position of Managing Director at the independent media business, Datacenter Dynamics. There he led the EMEA and North American businesses, overseeing a complex change program across digital, process, and operations.
“We are delighted to have Ben on board, leading the Emerging Payments Association into the future,” said the EPA’s Director-General, Tony Craddock. “We very much look forward to the positive and impactful contributions we know he will make.”
Recently, The Emerging Payments Association (EPA) announced the launch of Project Recovery in a bid to help the UK FinTech industry to make more informed decisions and enable them to adapt to the post-COVID-19 world.
