emerchantpay, a global payment service provider and acquirer, has announced its collaboration with Cybersource, a part of Visa Acceptance Solutions. The relationship enables emerchantpay to expand its global acquiring capabilities and better serve the evolving needs of its merchants worldwide.
The collaboration expands emerchantpay’s global acquiring capabilities and extends its reach while providing access to integrations with established technology and infrastructure providers—all through a single connection. These include prominent enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems for retailers, travel booking and reservations software, and other industry-specific solutions.
emerchantpay’s merchants benefit from extended geographic reach, seamless connections with major technology platforms, reduced integration complexities and greater flexibility through a comprehensive payments platform. The agreement also brings expanded payment functionality for customers, with options for advanced fraud management and network token capabilities that can enable improved conversion and help reduce fraud.
Jon Horddal, Chief Product Officer at emerchantpay, said, “We are thrilled to collaborate with Visa Acceptance Solutions to strengthen our global acquiring capabilities further and widen our reach into more markets. This relationship reflects our dedication to delivering leading payment solutions, fuelling growth, faster market readiness and efficiency for our merchants in the rapidly evolving digital economy.”
Tareq Muhmood, Senior Vice President of Value Added Services, Europe at Visa, added, “Payments are becoming more complex to navigate and changing constantly, which can impact the ability to scale. A single connection to the Visa Acceptance Platform helps payment providers like emerchantpay keep pace amidst evolving needs. With access to a global ecosystem of acquirers and technology solutions, emerchantpay is able to extend its reach, help speed time-to-market and lower operating costs.”
