Ecommpay, PayPal, Recurring Payments, Subscription Payments, FinTech, UK, EuropeEcommpay has added a new feature that will allow merchants to collect recurring PayPal payments from customers alongside subscription card payments and direct debits.

The new feature caters to merchants with subscription-based business models, which are selling a product or service recurringly, such as meal kit delivery services, pay TV, and beauty boxes.

From piloting PayPal Complete Payments to offering PayPal Express Checkout and PayPal Pay Later, the addition of PayPal subscriptions further reinforces Ecommpay’s collaboration with the payments giant.

Now, merchants can easily manage all subscriptions from their PayPal dashboard, with full control over billing cycles, amounts, and customer information. They can also make changes, track payment history, and handle cancellations.

Arthur Ribakovs, Head of Financial Partnerships at Ecommpay, said, “Our priority is always to make online payments as smooth as possible so that our clients can grow their businesses. So, we are excited to be offering these capabilities for one of the most popular digital wallets. This is the next step in strengthening our strategic relationship with PayPal and allowing us to assist more merchants whose business model is based on subscriptions.”

Keen to expand its already extensive list of payment methods and take advantage of PayPal’s capabilities, Ecommpay has already implemented the additional feature for its existing customers and is ready to use it.

Vincent Belloc, Senior Vice President for PayPal UK, said, “We are delighted to provide added value and opportunities to Ecommpay’s clients. Small businesses face a myriad of challenges, from finding new customers and managing cash flow to driving sales. Putting customer preference at the heart of the payment and providing shoppers more choices in how they can pay can help turn prospects into customers and grow sales.
