Aurionpro Solutions has expanded and upgraded its transaction banking engagement with Diamond Trust Bank (DTB), extending its mandate across Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania as the lender advances its regional digital transformation strategy.

The upgrade centres on Aurionpro’s iCashpro platform, which will support DTB’s corporate transaction banking operations across payments, trade finance, virtual accounts and real-time reporting. The initiative is designed to standardise processes across markets, improve straight-through processing, and provide greater visibility and control for both the bank and its corporate clients.

DTB has been investing in technology infrastructure to enhance scalability and service consistency as it grows its corporate banking footprint in East Africa. The latest deployment forms part of a broader effort to streamline operations, manage rising transaction volumes and deliver a more integrated digital experience for business customers.

Murali Natarajan, Managing Director & CEO, DTB Kenya, said the expanded partnership aligns with the bank’s multi-market transformation agenda. “We are delighted to strengthen and broaden our partnership with Aurionpro Solutions as part of DTB’s ongoing digital transformation journey across multiple markets. Our focus on innovation, operational excellence, and customer-centricity continues to guide our technology investments. This upgrade strengthens our transaction banking capabilities, enabling us to deliver greater value to our customers through robust digital channels and seamlessly integrated experiences.”

For Aurionpro, the engagement reinforces its positioning in cross-border transaction banking modernisation, particularly in emerging markets where banks are seeking to consolidate legacy systems and deploy unified digital platforms.

As African banks intensify efforts to digitise corporate banking and manage growing cross-border trade flows, multi-country technology rollouts are increasingly central to achieving operational efficiency and regulatory alignment. The DTB-Aurionpro expansion reflects a broader sector shift towards an integrated, scalable transaction banking infrastructure capable of supporting regional growth.
