Drop Technologies partners with BNPL provider Sezzle

Drop Technologies, on a mission to level-up consumer lives, has announced partnering with “Buy now, pay later” solution Sezzle, to financially empower the next generation of change-makers.

The partnership comes at a time when shoppers continue to navigate economic uncertainty as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. The deal offers new and existing Sezzle customers the opportunity to earn Drop points on every purchase they make when using Sezzle.

“We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with Sezzle. Given our company mission – to inspire individuals to live their optimal lives by empowering them financially – teaming up with Sezzle was a no-brainer. We’re excited to further reward our members for the shopping they do every day, and activate a new frontier of financially empowered shoppers,” said VP, Strategic Partnerships and Client Success at Drop, Matt Himel.

Sezzle’s interest-free solution has no impact on credit scores, so shoppers have the ability to get their financial ducks in a row without abandoning their carts in the process. Housed on Drop’s free rewards app, it is available for download on the App Store and Google Play. The company is planning to make the offer available first in Canada and has plans to expand to other markets soon.

Founded in 2016, Sezzle is a public-benefit corporation on a mission to financially empower the next generation. Its payment platform offers interest-free instalments for up to 6 weeks and increases the purchasing power for users across the U.S. and Canada at online stores and selected in-store locations. As Millennials and Gen Z grapple with rising student loan debts and increased living costs, Sezzle’s flexible payment plan helps to keep their day-to-day wants and needs in reach.
