dLocal & ShopeePay to expand payment solutions in Asia

dLocal, ShopeePay, SeaPay, Payments Solutions, Fintech APAC, Fintech Asia, FinTech News, Payments Technology, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, dLocal, a cross-border payment platform specializing in emerging markets, has expanded its partnership with ShopeePay, one of Asia’s regional mobile wallets.

This partnership enables dLocal to offer ShopeePay as a payment method for its clients, facilitating both pay-ins and payouts.

With this expansion, dLocal merchants will have the opportunity to allow their users to make payments for goods and services through ShopeePay seamlessly in four new emerging markets: Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. In addition, dLocal and ShopeePay Thailand are also expanding to provide payout services for merchants. This move broadens the reach of ShopeePay, allowing dLocal clients to cater to an estimated additional 200 million+ eCommerce customers in Asia.

dLocal powers local payments in high-growth markets, connecting global enterprise merchants with billions of high-growth market consumers across Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

ShopeePay is SeaMoney’s mobile wallet, which provides users with easy access to digital payment services. It is a fast and secure way to make online payments, transfer funds, and pay offline at thousands of merchant partner locations.

dLocal’s partnership with ShopeePay solidifies FinTech’s presence in Asia by expanding the payment method coverage.
