Deutsche, finTech News, FinTech Solutions, DataMesh, Payment Orchestration Platform, Merchant Solutions, APAC, APAC Fintech News, expanded its partnership with payment intelligence provider IPID to strengthen payment verification, fraud prevention and compliance capabilities across its global payments business.

The bank had already been using selected fraud prevention solutions from IPID. Under the expanded collaboration, Deutsche Bank broadened the deployment of IPID’s technology to support a wider range of payment decisions across its global network.

Damien Dugauquier, Co-Founder and CEO of IPID, said the financial services industry was increasingly moving toward decision intelligence models that provide real-time trust and certainty signals for payment decision-making. He added that Deutsche Bank’s adoption of these capabilities reflected the direction of the future global payments infrastructure.

IPID’s platform combines verification, fraud detection, compliance and payment optimisation signals, enabling financial institutions to evaluate transactions before funds are transferred. The companies also worked on developing new capabilities designed to help assess payment risks earlier in the transaction process.

“As global payments volumes continue to grow and move in real-time, having clearer insight before a payment is sent is increasingly important.  By combining Deutsche Bank’s global payments expertise with IPID’s decision intelligence capabilities, we will be able to help clients identify risks earlier, reduce unnecessary payment delays and move money more efficiently,”  said Rachel Whelan, APAC & MEA Head of Corporate Cash Management & Global Head of Payments & Transactional FX Product Management, Deutsche Bank.

The broader rollout was expected to support faster payment processing, enhance fraud detection and improve payment routing efficiency. It was also intended to provide clients with greater confidence that payments would reach the correct beneficiary.
