DBS has launched iCoach, a Generative AI-powered coaching platform developed in collaboration with Marshall Goldsmith,  to make high-impact coaching accessible to employees at every level, empowering its people with the tools and insights they need to thrive in a rapidly evolving workplace.

Traditionally, coaching has been reserved for senior executives or top-tier talent, limited by the high costs and individualised nature of one-on-one sessions. Recognising this challenge, DBS has leveraged cutting-edge Gen AI technology to scale personalised coaching sustainably, extending the benefits of expert career and leadership guidance to its entire workforce across the region.

Built on the insights and frameworks of Dr Marshall Goldsmith, renowned for his four decades of coaching Fortune 500 CEOs and senior leaders, iCoach provides employees with round-the-clock, just-in-time coaching tailored to DBS’s unique organisational context. By aligning recommendations with internal roles, functions and mobility pathways, iCoach delivers actionable guidance on career development, work-life balance, mental wellness, and leadership, enabling each employee to take ownership of their growth journey.

Industry data shows the impact of effective coaching: according to the International Coaching Federation and Better Up, 70% of individuals receiving coaching report improved work performance and relationships, while 80% experience increased self-confidence. iCoach extends these proven benefits at scale, democratising access to the same calibre of insight once reserved for a few.

The launch of iCoach complements DBS’s robust ecosystem of talent development initiatives, including iGrow, an AI-powered platform matching employees with learning and job opportunities; the DBS Mentoring Programme, which connects staff with leaders and peers for real-world guidance; the DBS Learning Hub, which offers more than 10,000 curated courses; and the Be My Guest Programme, which facilitates job shadowing, cross-functional projects and workshops with over 4,000 participations last year alone.

These initiatives have cemented DBS’s standing as an employer of choice globally and in key markets. In 2025, DBS was ranked first in TIME’s 500 Best Companies in Asia Pacific and recognised by Forbes as one of the World’s Best Employers in 2024. In Hong Kong, DBS Hong Kong continues to earn accolades for its commitment to people development, securing multiple honours at the Bloomberg Businessweek Financial Institutions 2025 Awards and the Jobsdb Hong Kong HR Awards 2024/25.

By introducing iCoach, DBS reaffirms its dedication to nurturing a future-ready, resilient workforce delivering meaningful, technology-enabled career support that empowers every employee to learn, grow and lead with confidence in the age of AI.
