Curve announced that it is expanding its Curve Wallet in a bid to include loyalty programmes from retail brands in the UK and Europe. The FinTech stated that its Wallet users can now add, store and collect points on any loyalty cards.
Curve users can utilise their Wallet to access loyalty programmes from some of the UK retailers, including Accessorize, Boots, Costa, Harrods, House of Fraser, M&S, Tesco and Waitrose, etc. While in Europe, users can store points, as they buy, from IKEA, Carrefour, Mercadonna, Rossman, Conad, Continente and Galeries Lafayette. The announcement follows the lifting of the national lockdowns in the European countries.
Matt Collinge, CPTO, Curve said, “Curve’s loyalty ecosystem is our next step in taking people’s wallets into the cloud. Our intuitive UX design means users will never miss a reward again, while merchants continue to gain valuable and actionable insights. Curve’s technology means we can do what no one else can – help end fragmentation and inconvenience by combining personal finance and loyalty programmes in one place.”
Recently, Samsung Electronics announced that the new Curve-powered Samsung Pay Card in conjunction with Mastercard is now available. The new Pay Card allows users to gain complete control over their spending without having to change banks. The digital-first card utilises the FinTech’s technology along with Mastercard’s acceptance footprint.
