Crédit Agricole next bank (CA next bank) has become the first bank in Switzerland to go live with Avaloq’s new Mobile Banking solution after piloting the platform for the Swiss market.
Delivered through a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model, the mobile banking application is designed to provide customers with a secure and intuitive digital banking experience while enabling the bank to expand self-service capabilities and accelerate the rollout of new features.
The new app allows clients to manage a broader range of day-to-day banking activities directly from their smartphones, including payments and investment-related transactions. By simplifying access to financial services, the solution aims to enhance convenience and give customers greater control over their finances.
Maxime Charton, Chief Digital & Information Officer at CA next bank, said, “By working closely with Avaloq, we were able to pilot the solution in the Swiss market, refine it based on user feedback and become the first bank in Switzerland to bring it into production.”
He further added, “The result is a mobile app that is easy to use and secure and gives our clients more control over their finances. This successful launch with Avaloq is closely aligned with our mobile-first digital strategy, helping us meet evolving client expectations for convenient, self-directed banking on mobile.”
Built on Avaloq’s next-generation architecture, the platform separates the user interface from backend systems, allowing the bank to introduce new functionalities more quickly while maintaining operational stability across digital channels.
The application also supports modern authentication standards and real-time push notifications to strengthen security and improve the user experience.
Avaloq said the solution will continue to evolve through regular updates and additional capabilities aligned with CA next bank’s business objectives and customer requirements.
Insights gained during the pilot phase are also expected to inform future enhancements and support other financial institutions pursuing mobile-first banking strategies.
Christian Haux, Managing Director for Switzerland and Liechtenstein at Avaloq, said, “This go-live with CA next bank marks the first deployment of our new Mobile Banking solution in Switzerland. It demonstrates how close collaboration with financial institutions helps us shape our solutions around real-world needs and make new capabilities available to our broader client community.”
The deployment highlights the growing focus among banks on modern, mobile-first banking experiences as financial institutions increasingly seek to enhance customer engagement, expand self-service capabilities, and accelerate digital innovation.
