Alawneh Exchange has launched Alawneh Pay, a digital wallet built on Codebase Technologies‘ Digibanc platform, as the financial services provider expands its digital offerings and strengthens its presence in Jordan’s growing digital payments market.

The new wallet forms part of Alawneh Exchange’s wider digital transformation strategy and is designed to enable customers to access and manage financial services through a secure digital platform. Built on Digibanc’s modular, API-driven architecture, Alawneh Pay will allow the company to introduce new products more quickly while integrating with billers, card processors and remittance networks.

Ayman Alawneh, General Manager of Alawneh Exchange, said, “Our customers’ needs are evolving, and so must we. Alawneh Pay is more than just a wallet. It’s a key milestone in our journey to become a digital financial leader in Jordan. With Digibanc as our foundation, we can innovate faster, integrate more efficiently, and deliver secure, customer-focused services that redefine convenience for our users.”

According to Alawneh Exchange, the platform will help modernise its operations, enhance customer experiences and support its expansion into digital payments and FinTech services. The company added that the technology provides the flexibility to customise services for local market requirements while reducing development time and accelerating the rollout of new capabilities.

Codebase Technologies said its Digibanc platform will provide the foundation for Alawneh Pay’s future product roadmap, enabling the exchange to expand its digital ecosystem and collaborate more effectively with FinTech partners and third-party service providers.

Tamer Mauge, Managing Director – MENA at Codebase Technologies, said “Digibanc gives Alawneh Exchange a foundation for continuous innovation. Alawneh Pay will benefit from a mature and proven technology engine that can evolve and scale alongside their business. Our platform’s flexibility enables the company to introduce new services, integrations and revenue streams at speed.”

The launch comes as digital payments continue to gain momentum across Jordan and the wider MENA region. Alawneh Exchange said the new platform positions the company to expand its digital financial services while responding to growing customer demand for secure, convenient and integrated payment solutions.
