Clearwater Analytics has partnered with J.P. Morgan Asset Management and launched of an integrated cash management solution designed to transform how hedge funds manage idle cash and liquidity.

The strategic integration connects Enfusion by CWAN a unified portfolio and order management system with Morgan Money®, J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s short-term investment platform, to create a fully automated workflow that streamlines cash investing and monitoring. This innovation allows hedge fund clients to maximise yield, strengthen diversification, and achieve real-time liquidity visibility, all within a single, connected ecosystem.

By automating cash allocation and investment execution, the solution empowers hedge funds to:

  • Optimise idle balances through automatic investment in a diversified range of institutional money market funds.

  • Mitigate concentration risk by distributing cash across multiple managers, custodians, and currencies.

  • Enhance transparency through real-time visibility of liquidity positions, with seamless withdrawal and deposit functionality.

  • Reduce manual treasury operations, freeing investment teams to focus on alpha generation and strategic decision-making.

“Every dollar sitting in a single account represents both a missed opportunity and unnecessary concentration risk,” said Scott Erickson, Chief Revenue Officer at CWAN. “Together with J.P. Morgan Asset Management, we’ve built a system that makes cash an active, automated asset helping hedge funds capture more yield, strengthen governance, and simplify operations.”

“Our collaboration with CWAN reflects our shared commitment to delivering institutional-grade solutions that simplify complexity,” said Paul Przybylski, Global Head of Product Strategy and Morgan Money at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. “This integration gives hedge funds a straightforward way to enhance yield, diversification, and liquidity oversight—without adding operational burden.”

The launch marks a significant milestone in the evolution of digital treasury management, underscoring the industry’s move toward data-driven automation and integrated liquidity intelligence. As investors demand greater efficiency, control, and transparency, the partnership between CWAN and J.P. Morgan Asset Management sets a new standard for how hedge funds manage cash in a connected, technology-led future.
