ClearBank has partnered with AutoRek to enhance its reconciliation capabilities and accelerate innovation in financial operations.

The collaboration marks a significant milestone in ClearBank’s ongoing digital transformation journey. As transaction volumes surged by 55% in 2024, the institution sought a scalable, future-ready solution capable of supporting rapid growth while maintaining agility, control, and full regulatory compliance.

Through AutoRek’s powerful no-code platform, ClearBank has modernised its reconciliation infrastructure, transitioning from manual, time-intensive processes to automated, data-driven workflows. The unified platform supports both transactional and cash reconciliation across multiple payment schemes, delivering real-time visibility, streamlined reporting, and seamless integration into ClearBank’s Microsoft Azure-first environment.

This enhanced capability eliminates traditional operational bottlenecks, enabling ClearBank to manage growing transaction volumes with increased speed and accuracy. The result is a more resilient and scalable banking infrastructure that supports the evolving needs of digital-first financial institutions and their customers.

“Digital banking providers face operational demands that manual processes simply can’t support,” said Nick Botha, Global Payments Lead at AutoRek. “Traditional reconciliation approaches can’t handle the volumes and complexity of modern payment flows. ClearBank represents the future of banking infrastructure – technology-driven, scalable, and built for real-time operations. Working with them demonstrates how the right reconciliation platform becomes a strategic enabler, not just a compliance requirement.”

“As ClearBank continues to scale, we need a reconciliation platform that will keep pace with our volume of transactions while giving us flexibility, control, and speed to market,” added Richard Draper, Head of Finance Operations at ClearBank. “With AutoRek, we can generate reconciliations much faster without overloading our team. Most tools are either strong on transactional reconciliations or on balance substantiation, but rarely both. AutoRek does both well and integrates them seamlessly into our Microsoft Azure-first strategy.”

The partnership reinforces ClearBank’s position at the forefront of next-generation banking infrastructure, combining real-time payments technology with intelligent automation to set new standards in operational efficiency, transparency, and customer experience.
