Citi’s Global Transfer Agency business has  partnered with Fenergo’s Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform to streamline investor onboarding and due diligence for regulated funds across Europe.

Leveraging Fenergo’s market-leading CLM solution, Citi now delivers a fully digitised, policy-driven approach to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance, tailored to the complex needs of institutional asset and investment managers. The platform introduces automated data validation and seamless API connectivity, providing clients with real-time reporting and enhanced operational efficiency.

Part of Citi’s broader Fund Services offering, the Global Transfer Agency business supports institutional clients who design and manage regulated funds for institutional and retail investors across multiple jurisdictions and asset classes.

The integration of Fenergo’s CLM solution forms part of Citi’s ongoing commitment to digital transformation within its Transfer Agency operations. This milestone builds on the success of Citi’s award-winning digital Transfer Agency service launched in the United Kingdom in 2023, which provides a fully digitised client lifecycle for regulated funds.

As Citi continues to expand its digital capabilities, the partnership with Fenergo reinforces the bank’s strategic focus on delivering innovative, compliant, and client-focused solutions that meet the evolving demands of the global funds industry.

Larissa Sototskaya, Head of Global Transfer Agency at Citi Fund Services, said,  “The Fenergo platform brings together new-generation technology with deep regulatory expertise, which is vital for servicing a diverse portfolio of multi-domiciled investments. As the regulatory landscape continues to evolve, adopting Fenergo enables us to remain ahead of the curve, delivering transparency, efficiency and a real-time view of investor status for our clients.”

Ruth Ormsby, Managing Director, EMEA at Fenergo, said, “We are delighted to partner with Citi’s Global Transfer Agency business in Europe. Fenergo’s CLM platform is recognised as the market leader for digital onboarding and due diligence, and we are committed to continuous innovation. Our collaboration with Citi underscores our shared ambition to create a seamless, compliant, and customer-centric experience for investors worldwide.”
