Buckzy marks European presence with new Amsterdam office

Canadian FinTech Buckzy Payments Inc, a global real-time cross-border payments network, recently announced it is expanding operations in Europe with the opening of a new office this summer in Amsterdam, the Netherland.

Buckzy is also pursuing an EMI license that will enable any participant of the Buckzy Payment Network globally to leverage virtual account services and real-time payments across the Single Euro Payment Area (SEPA), which covers 36 countries and territories in Europe – the 27 EU member states plus the UK, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Monaco, San Marino, Andorra and the Vatican City State.

Commenting on the news, Buckzy President and CEO, Abdul Naushad said, “We’re excited to expand Buckzy’s presence and operations in Europe with our new office in Amsterdam, one of the world’s oldest and most respected banking and finance hubs. Buckzy will be in Amsterdam next week at Money 20/20 Europe, where it will underline the growing value and strategic importance of international real-time cross-border transactions, as banks and other financial service providers, payment companies, and FinTechs converge on the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre for three days of keynote speeches, industry debate, and networking.
