BRISKPE has partnered with the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), the apex body representing Indian exporters. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed in New Delhi, represents a decisive step in reshaping India’s export payments ecosystem through digital innovation and inclusive access to global markets.

India’s MSME exporters are playing an increasingly central role in the nation’s economic growth story, with exports surging from $44.72 billion in 2020–21 to $1.40 billion in 2024–25. The number of exporting MSMEs has more than tripled during this period, yet many continue to face challenges in accessing affordable, transparent, and timely cross-border payments. The BRISKPE–FIEO partnership is designed to address these barriers, equipping exporters with simplified digital-first solutions that streamline compliance, reduce costs, and accelerate settlement timelines. Through BRISKPE’s platform, MSMEs will gain seamless access to critical export documentation, including e-FIRA and e-BRC, while also benefiting from preferential entry into FIEO-led global trade initiatives, exhibitions, and buyer–seller programmes that expand international reach.

The agreement was formalised at FIEO’s Niryat Bhawan headquarters in the presence of Dr. Ajay Sahai, Director General & CEO of FIEO; Indunath Chaudhary, Co-Founder & COO of BRISKPE; and senior representatives from both organisations. It underscores a shared vision to strengthen the competitiveness of Indian exporters by combining the scale and advocacy of FIEO with the agility and technology-driven approach of BRISKPE. In particular, the initiative will extend the benefits of digital payments innovation to small and rural exporters, advancing financial inclusion and ensuring broader participation in global trade.

Indunath Chaudhary, Co-Founder & COO of BRISKPE, said, “As India advances towards the Government’s $2 trillion export target, this partnership underscores the role of FinTech innovation in strengthening the export ecosystem. Together with FIEO, we will drive digital adoption, reduce costs, and empower exporters of all sizes to scale confidently in global markets. Under this MOU, BRISKPE aims to take the next-generation cross-border payments solution to exporters even in rural areas.”

Dr. Ajay Sahai, Director General & CEO of FIEO, added: “Ensuring smooth and timely payment flows is a vital part of the export ecosystem. Our association with BRISKPE provides a platform to highlight digital solutions that may support exporters in realising payments faster and with greater transparency, thereby helping them remain competitive in global trade.”
