Boodil, UK, FinTech, Pay By Portal, Open BankingBoodil, a UK FinTech that specialises in open banking payments, has rolled out its new Pay by Portal solution which enables merchants to send out payment links via SMS, email, or by generating a QR code. Customers are then able to checkout via Boodil’s rapid and safe open banking payment method, cutting out the costly card fees.

The Pay by Portal solution has been built with their clients in mind with no mobile app download required at all. Merchants can send out the links or generate QR codes for their customers. The solution is fully customisable with brand colours, fonts, and logos, along with the option to have custom fields, branded email templates, or SMS content along with notifications to let you know you have been paid.

The Pay by Portal solution allows for a seamless and branded experience for merchants to collect account-to-account payments via either QR codes, payment links, or a self-serving customer-centric page with full support for payment confirmation for both parties.

Boodil has brought on many new clients utilising its platform, including Bullion Giant, Carttitude, and Magic Detail to name a few. They are also working with a range of other industries including jewellers, professional services, and trade professionals.

Claudiu Jijie, Founder and Director of Cartitude said, “The Boodil Pay by Portal solution works perfectly for our business model. We have high-value transactions, and it would be far too costly if we took these payments via cards. This pay-by-portal solution allows us to collect payments safely and securely via instant bank transfers from our customers rather than relying on them manually transferring the payment.”
