BNY Mellon’s Pershing appoints Emily Schlosser as Chief Operating Officer

BNY Mellon’s Pershing, a leading global provider of global financial business solutions, has announced the appointment of Emily Schlosser as the company’s new chief operating officer (COO), effective immediately.

Emily Schlosser, as COO and member of Pershing’s Executive Committee, Schlosser will lead Pershing’s operational functions and will be involved in setting Pershing’s strategic direction.

Most recently, Ms. Schlosser as head of change for the Global Markets Division in Goldman Sachs. In this role, she led the transformation of their institutional client experience as well as major initiatives to drive new revenue streams, build scale, and manage risk and regulatory obligations.

Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Ms. Schlosser served as COO of Corporate Services at E*TRADE, responsible for client service, technology, participant engagement, marketing, operations, finance, risk, and human resources. Both firm revenue and assets under management grew under her direction.

She holds Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Columbia Business School and a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematical Statistics from Bucknell University.

Established since 1939, BNY Mellon’s Pershing and its affiliates provide global financial business solutions to broker-dealers, family offices, hedge fund, advisors, and ’40 Act fund managers, registered investment advisor firms and wealth managers.
