Trustly, Open Banking Payments, Instant Payments, Nordics, Sweden, Instant Payouts, FinTechBMW Financial Services (BMW FS) has partnered with Trustly via Adyen to offer its payment solution for UK customers. Leasing customers who wish to settle their finance agreement with BMW FS will now be able to make their settlement payment with Trustly. All they must do is log in via the BMW, MINI, and ALPHERA MyFinance portals.

Trustly’s Open Banking solution is revolutionary for businesses with high-value transactions. Previously, businesses had to choose between expensive debit card payments and manual bank transfer payment experiences.

Trustly aims to solve this by automating the bank transfer experience for customers and businesses. It offers a seamless customer experience with no manual entry of bank account details or transaction references. Customers simply select their bank and confirm the payment with a fingerprint or face ID.

A spokesperson at BMW FS UK said, “As one of the leading financial service providers in the automotive sector, BMW Financial Services is constantly innovating and improving our customer offering. New payment technologies are a key part of this commitment. Trustly supports BMW FS to offer a significantly improved payment experience to our UK customers. The solution integration has been as seamless as making a Trustly payment and we are excited for the future of the partnership.”

Olof Wirfelt, Chief Commercial Officer at Trustly added, “We are delighted to support BMW FS with modernising their payment experience in the UK. BMW FS is committed to improving the way their customers pay and we have worked closely together to deliver the very best with Trustly Open Banking payments. This partnership is another major step forward for payments in the automotive sector, realising the benefits of Trustly’s modern way to pay and rationalising payment costs.”
