Blue Prism extends intelligent automation software offering to Microsoft Azure users

UK-headquartered Blue Prism has launched a new service of intelligent automation software on Microsoft’s AppSource and Azure Marketplaces, thus enhancing access for Microsoft’s and Blue Prism’s customers. The company has stated that the new offering will allow the RPA provider’s robots with greater access to Microsoft Azure Apps and over 175 accelerators for Microsoft products within its Digital Exchange.

“This combination of Blue Prism and Azure Cognitive Services gives our customers a greater choice with AI-enabled, self-service experience that is provisioned via Microsoft Azure,” said Chief Partner Strategy Officer at Blue Prism, Linda Dotts. “Advanced intelligent automation in the cloud provides multiple advantages for our customers, most notably the ability to instantly scale to meet enterprise demands.”

According to the company, its accelerators now exist for Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft’s Power Automate gallery, Microsoft’s Healthcare Cloud; with Form Recognizer, Text Analytics and Azure Computer Vision. The collaboration is expected to enable users to enhance their enterprise automations.

Recently, the RPA solutions provider announced that it had secured £100 million from new and its existing investors in a bid to boost and protect its balance sheet during the crisis and allow for enhancements to its intelligent automation suite. The funds raised will help the company to strengthen its market position in the Robotic Process Automation industry.
