Worldline, BLIK, BLIK Payments, Mobile Payments, DXC Technology, FinTech, Romania, SlovakiaWorldline, in continued cooperation with BLIK, one of Poland’s popular mobile payment systems, is rolling out BLIK code payments on Worldline’s Tap on Mobile app. Under the partnership, businesses using Tap on Mobile will be able to accept payments with a BLIK code.

The launch of BLIK code payments on Tap on Mobile is another step in the development of the app, which offers its users even more payment options. Until now, clients were only able to accept BLIK contactless payments on Tap on Mobile. Now, the number of potential customers who will be able to pay using a BLIK code will go up to 16.3 million.

The Tap on Mobile app turns an Android device into a mobile payment terminal that allows payments to be accepted anywhere. What’s more, the app can accept a wide range of cashless payments—contactless, credit and debit cards, and mobile wallets—at no fixed costs and, most importantly, with no additional devices required.

The Tap on Mobile app, which allows businesses to accept BLIK payments, will be an ideal solution for businesses in other European countries. It will enable users to make and accept payments regardless of their location.

“Our Tap on Mobile app continues to develop, offering its users an ever-wider range of payment options. We are pleased to add BLIK code payments to our flagship app, as this will enable us to reach an even larger group of users who would like to make use of quick, convenient and, above all, secure payment transactions that do not require a payment card,” said Artur Żymańczyk, Country Manager at Worldline Poland.

“With more than 16.3 million active users, BLIK is one of the most popular mobile payment methods in Poland today. Worldline is the global leader in electronic payments with a strong footprint in Europe. The benefits of our partnership for users are undeniable: easier payments regardless of location. By joining forces, we will spur on the development of the mobile payment market and provide customers with even more convenience in their daily payment transactions,” said Adam Kokoszkiewicz, Sales Director at Polish Payment Standard, operator of BLIK.
