Bank of Ireland Pivots to Surecomp’s Trade Finance-as-a-Service to Fuel Innovation and Customer ExperienceThe Bank of Ireland has partnered with Surecomp to deploy its DOKA-NG™ platform as a SaaS solution to streamline back-office trade finance operational efficiency. This collaboration reflects the bank’s ongoing strategic commitment to embrace innovation and deliver a superior customer experience.

In its pursuit of operational excellence and continuous innovation, Bank of Ireland selected Surecomp’s Trade Finance-as-a-Service (TFaaS) to access technology on demand. The platform offers rapid deployment, automatic updates and little to no reliance on IT resources. The cloud-based platform will empower Bank of Ireland to efficiently manage its internal trade finance processes with agility and scalability, driving greater efficiency, transparency and customer responsiveness.

Commenting on the partnership, Owen Neary, Head of Trade Finance at Bank of Ireland stated, “Customer-centricity sits firmly at the center of our decision to pivot to a SaaS trade finance solution. By working with Surecomp and leveraging its innovative technology as a dedicated digital trade finance provider, we are well-positioned to lead the way in both customer experience and trade finance efficiency. We look forward to unlocking new levels of operational agility but ultimately to driving greater value to our customers.”

“TFaaS represents a paradigm shift in the trade finance industry, offering numerous advantages over traditional on-premises software solutions,” explained Tal Weiser, Surecomp’s Chief Revenue Officer. “Unlike the legacy system that Bank of Ireland was previously using, DOKA-NG™ as a SaaS solution eliminates the need for costly infrastructure investments and time-consuming maintenance. It will enable the bank to adapt more quickly to changing market dynamics and regulatory requirements, offer faster turnaround times, improve accuracy, and greater visibility into transactions, thus enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty. We are delighted to support them in this next phase of their digital transformation.”
