Avaloq & Investment Navigator to simplify investment advisory compliance for wealth managers

Swiss-based Investment Navigator has teamed up with Avaloq today in a bid to simplify investment advisory compliance for wealth managers. The FinTech will be integrating Investment Navigator’s RegTech offering into its Wealth Platform. The solution includes suitability checks for the compliant distribution of investment products, covering all asset classes on ISIN level, as well as regulatory guidance on cross-border business activities.

According to Avaloq, Investment Navigator’s Suitability Service to automatically assess regulatory, product-specific as well as tax requirements and restrictions.

Recently, Avaloq announced the launch of Engage app in a bid to allow wealth managers and advisers to engage with clients through social messaging channels such as WhatsApp and WeChat in a secure and compliant manner. The rollout follows the recent launch of Avaloq Wealth and forms part of a new stand-alone, core-agnostic suite of digital wealth management platforms. The FinTech also signed an agreement with Belgium-based Banque Degroof Petercam. Under the new partnership, Avaloq will implement its Software as a Service (SaaS) as Degroof Petercam’s new core banking system with an aim to strengthen its IT platform as well as opportunities for growth.
