audax Financial Technology has powered Amanah Pro, a Shariah-compliant digital banking platform launched by Maybank Indonesia Syariah and Muslim Pro, expanding access to digital Islamic banking services for customers in Indonesia.

Nafees Khundker, CEO and Group Managing Director of Muslim Pro, said: “Amanah Pro represents an important step in helping Muslims prepare for that journey with greater confidence and convenience. By bringing together faith, technology, and trusted Islamic financial services, we’re creating a more connected ecosystem that supports Muslims not only in worship, but in taking meaningful action towards their goals.”

The platform has enabled users to open a Shariah-compliant Hajj savings account within minutes through a paperless onboarding process, replacing a journey that traditionally takes several days. The deployment has marked the first Indonesian implementation under audax’s partnership with Maybank Indonesia Syariah, announced less than 18 months ago.

Kelvin Tan, CEO of audax Financial Technology, said: “Indonesia represents one of the most significant opportunities in Islamic digital finance — and the right way to serve it is to meet users inside the platforms they already trust. We are proud to bring audax’s technology to this partnership.”

Integrated into the Muslim Pro app, which has recorded more than 190 million downloads globally, Amanah Pro has embedded Islamic banking services into a digital platform already used for prayer times, Quran reading, Qibla direction and other faith-based services. The solution is designed to help Indonesian Muslims begin planning and saving for Hajj through a regulated digital banking experience.

Indonesia is home to more than 240 million Muslims and represents one of the world’s largest Islamic finance markets, with demand for digital Shariah-compliant financial services continuing to grow.

The launch has reflected the growing adoption of embedded financial services, bringing regulated Islamic banking capabilities into everyday digital platforms used by consumers.
