AsiaPayAsiaPay has launched the Xecure 3D, 3-D Secure 2.0 ACS (Access Control Server) solution service for China CITIC Bank in the Hong Kong region covering Visa and Mastercard. AsiaPay has stated that as a digital payment service provider, it consistently seeks to provide a seamless digital payment experience for customers. The company mentioned that it prioritises security and provides quality services in a safe environment to banks.

The 3D Secure service enables issuing banks to participate in 3-D Secure 2.0 programs of Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and China UnionPay. With the service, cardholders are said to benefit through a more frictionless convenience payment experience during online and mobile checkout. This is done by the usage of a more effective authentication process that minimises unnecessary Over-The-Counters challenges.

“Cardholders are no stranger to the dangers of transacting digitally. Complex fraud activities such as phishing and keylogging have been present since the dawn of ecommerce,” says Joseph Chan, CEO of AsiaPay. “In order for issuing banks to boost consumer confidence in making digital card payment transactions for online and mobile purchases, they would look for a stronger and more convenient authentication process with choices that can speed up checkout payment while at the same time prevent fraudulent payment risks,” he added.

Xecure 3D ACS solution service supports payment and non-payment authentication, and advanced multiple authentication types including token-based, biometric, OTP, and is extendable to out-of-brand. It is said to come with a user-friendly and customisable Risk-based Authentication (RBA) module that optimises frictionless payment experience. The service comes with a comprehensive range of reportings and is also expandable to support multiple languages as well as other special card products to meet the security needs of issuing banks and cardholders.
