Aon launches AI-driven platform to streamline insurance placement
By Vriti Gothi
Aon plc, an Insurance company, has launched Aon Broker Copilot, a proprietary, AI-powered platform for insurance placement through advanced data, large language models (LLMs), and predictive analytics.
Developed in-house and co-created with Aon’s frontline brokers, Aon Broker Copilot is a patent-pending platform that standardises and structures data across commercial insurance submissions quoted, bound, or declined.
The platform integrates with Aon’s broader analytics ecosystem, including the acclaimed Risk Analyser suite, creating a seamless experience from data ingestion to client delivery. It empowers brokers to generate more strategic submissions, engage markets with greater precision, and offer clients real-time intelligence tailored to today’s volatile and complex risk environment.
By capturing and standardising data from every submission whether quoted, bound, or declined Aon Broker Copilot provides an unprecedented view into how the global insurance market is pricing risk. This comprehensive dataset allows Aon to move beyond anecdotal insights, enabling brokers to deliver sharper, real-time advice to clients based on actual market behaviour, not just completed deals. It fills a critical intelligence gap, helping clients make better decisions in a dynamic and competitive environment.
The introduction of Broker Copilot is a cornerstone of Aon’s broader innovation strategy, aligning with its 3×3 Plan to elevate client service, scale technological transformation, and accelerate performance across its global network. The launch follows Aon’s $1 billion investment in 2024 to advance client decision-making across interconnected risks through enhanced Risk Capital and Human Capital capabilities, with AI and real-time data at the core.
Aon Broker Copilot is initially being deployed across the U.S. National Property and London Global Broking Centre Property teams, expanding into additional business lines and geographies between 2025 and 2026.
Joe Peiser, CEO of Commercial Risk for Aon, said, “As risk becomes more complex, the future of broking will belong to firms that can combine expertise with intelligence at scale. Aon Broker Copilot reflects how Aon is undertaking one of the most ambitious digital transformations across the broker universe. The platform is the next step in predictive broking, enabling our brokers to operate with greater precision, consistency and insight to deliver better outcomes for our clients around the world. The industry is undergoing a fundamental shift.”
