10x Banking, audax partner to fast-track digital banking rollouts
By Vriti Gothi

10x Banking has partnered with audax Financial Technology, a digital banking solutions provider backed by Standard Chartered, to support banks in Asia Pacific (APAC), Europe, and the Middle East in accelerating digital expansion and core modernisation. The collaboration aims to address rising pressure on banks to upgrade legacy systems as customer adoption of digital finance intensifies and regional FinTech markets scale at double-digit growth rates.
According to research from 10x, 93% of banking leaders in APAC believe modern core platforms are critical to future competitiveness, yet two-thirds remain concerned about migration risk. Despite rising urgency, core modernisation remains low on the priority list; only 8% of APAC executives currently rank it as a near-term focus. The disconnect comes at a time when digital payment adoption and fintech scaling—projected to grow at more than 21% CAGR in APAC through 2028—is reshaping customer expectations across QR networks, wallets, and cross-border payments.
The partnership combines 10x Banking’s cloud-native core, used by institutions including Chase UK, Westpac, and Old Mutual, with audax’s front-end deployment capabilities. audax has demonstrated its platform at scale through digital solutions serving over 150 million users and its recent mandate to support Maybank Islamic’s rollout of Shariah-compliant digital services across Southeast Asia. Together, the companies intend to allow banks to launch full digital propositions in as little as six months, while upgrading core systems incrementally rather than through traditional multi-year rebuilds.
10x currently processes over one billion real-time transactions annually across live deployments and records uptime of 99.99% , while supporting transaction throughput exceeding 100,000 payments per second. Its platform also provides rapid onboarding capacity, with the ability to add up to 60,000 customers in a day.
Antony Jenkins, Founder and CEO of 10x Banking, said, “The partnership aims to remove the perceived trade-off between modernising safely and moving at commercial speed. This partnership shows banks don’t need to choose between speed and resilience; they can have both. By combining 10x Banking’s modern core with audax’s digital agility, banks in high-growth regions can innovate at pace, minimise risk, and deliver lasting customer value.”
