10x Banking partners with ezbob to speed up SME lending
By Divya Shah
Why it matters: The partnership showed how integrated banking technology and AI-powered lending could help banks reduce development time and expand SME financing access.
Banking technology provider 10x Banking has partnered with lending technology company ezbob to help banks launch small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) lending products faster and with lower operational risk.
Under the partnership, ezbob provided its lending-orchestration platform, covering the complete lending process, including customer onboarding, loan applications, credit decision-making and AI-powered agents. 10x Banking contributed its modular core banking and ledger technology to help banks manage lending products and maintain accurate financial records.
The combined solution aimed to help banks launch new SME lending products in weeks rather than months, reducing development time and speeding up the delivery of services to customers.
Okan Ozaltin, Chief Product & Technology Officer, 10x Banking, said, “Bringing our core and ledger together with a specialist origination platform gives them a faster, lower-risk route to market and the flexibility to keep evolving it afterwards. SME lending is where customers can get the most value, which is why we are starting there.”
The companies also highlighted the benefits of open integration, which allowed banks to connect specialist technology solutions without relying on a single closed platform. Banks could reuse existing components to introduce additional lending products instead of building separate systems for each service.
Yaron Shoshani, Chief Technology Officer at ezbob, said the partnership combined its digital lending capabilities with 10x Banking’s banking infrastructure. He added that the solution would help lenders automate credit decisions where permitted by their policies and introduce new lending products using reusable technology components.
The partnership initially focused on the UK SME lending market, where the companies identified a gap in digital lending experiences. Both companies planned to expand the collaboration into additional markets and lending segments over time.
